Getting there and around
ForestHill is 124 km to the east of Bangkok direction Nakhon Nayok and Sao Kao (Cambodian border) . The drive takes usually two hours (more if you have heavy traffic in Bangkok). Renting your own car is an ideal solution for all your transportation problems and you can use it also around the B&B and in the park. We have one car to rent out and one motorbike (2 persons) in case you come by taxi. Note that here Grab does not exist nor normal taxis ( And in the city there are are no motorbike or car rental). In case you arrive by train or taxi we are able to rent you a car and/or motorbike since you need transport to the Park just around (shops, restaurants’ etc..).
Twenty km from here is a train station. 4 times a day a train connects Cambodia with Bangkok. In the village at evening market busses and minivans drive to the Capital. Although cheap, they are slow and uncomfortable. We also give you advice on how to get to your next destination. There are several places where you can have lunch and on the road 3077 connecting the park with the city several good restaurants with live western music. Also here we can help you choosing. Local shops sell everything, 4 mini supermarkets are 24 hours open and several local markets are within reach but you need wheels to get there.
